Unique perspectives

Children and young people can give us all a fresh perspective on the challenges we face in society. Through our child-led placemaking and consultancy services, we help practitioners, researchers and officials get unique insights from young people and support their wider participation in society.

Valuing experience

Young people are experts in their own experience. Our work supports young people to share their views and suggest ways of improving our world. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we delivered safe and secure online collaboration with youth across Scotland to shine a light on these experiences.

Our team has a proven track record of conducting rigorous, collaborative research with young people. We’ve worked on some ground-breaking publications and have extensive experience in public speaking on topics including children’s rights, outdoor learning and civic engagement.

We provide a range of consultancy services to built environment and education professionals, to enable them to better facilitate children’s access to their environments.

All services are bespoke to suit your needs. We can deliver training to policy-makers and practitioners, research services, policy and design advice, engage with children and young people on your behalf, and deliver fun and educational sessions to children of all ages on the environment, design and their rights to get involved.
