We’re seeking new board members!

APiC is on a mission to enable young citizens’ meaningful participation in improving our world, now and for the future. We do this through a combination of Research, Advocacy, and Action.

We registered as a charity (SCIO) in 2018, and we’re a young start-up with wide ambitions and exciting and impactful projects under our belt. The current board of six consists of a young team of planners, researchers, psychologists, outdoor learning, and public health experts. We’re now looking to expand our skills and knowledge base to enhance our long-term sustainability, by inviting new members with experience in one (or more) of the following:

  • Charity Governance and business administration, with a view to becoming Chair of the Board of Trustees
  • Architecture and Design
  • Business Development
  • Charity Fundraising

A passion for APiC’s ethos is a must, and subject-specific expertise is beneficial but not essential. Board meetings take place online every 5-6 weeks on Saturdays. Please note that any candidate should be willing to travel to Edinburgh for meetings post Covid-19 crisis.

Board members currently contribute an average of 1 hour per week towards developing the charity’s sustainability.
